Intown Schools
Atlanta is a big city and there are a LOT of educational options. I have compiled information about schools in the intown neighborhoods on Atlanta's east side. I have undoubtedly missed some schools. If you know of a school that you believe should be included, just let me know!

Atlanta's intown neighborhoods are served by 4 separate public school systems: City of Atlanta, City of Decatur, DeKalb county, and Fulton county.

Anyone looking for a private school will have many choices in this part of town. Although the number of schools available makes it impossible for me to detail every individual private school in the area, I have endeavored to list a broad cross-section of the educational choices available, focusing on the largest schools as well as those that have served the community for the longest time and those that serve special populations.
